A School of Choice

Haas Hall Academy serves scholars in grades 7-12 at five campuses in Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley — Bentonville, Fayetteville, Fort Smith, Rogers, and Springdale.

Demand for entrance into Haas Hall Academy dramatically exceeds our enrollment cap. Because of this, we use a random, anonymous lottery for admission. Haas Hall Academy does not discriminate on the basis of sex, national origin, race, ethnicity, religion, disability, academic or athletic eligibility.

Haas Hall Academy is recognized by U.S. News and World Report and Newsweek as one of the finest high schools in the nation!

    About Our Admission Lottery

Upon notification to the Arkansas Department of Education, Haas Hall Academy will conduct a random, anonymous Admissions Lottery for each grade at each campus. In order to protect the privacy of all applicants, only the applicants’ Lottery IDs will be used as an identifier during the Admissions Lottery drawing. Names of applicants are never displayed online.

During each Admissions Lottery drawing, the applications are assigned a whole number at random. These numbers are not the Lottery ID. The applications are then sorted into ascending order based on those whole numbers and are displayed as the Lottery Results.

    Shadow A Scholar program

We encourage all prospective scholars to schedule a Shadow A Scholar appointment so they have the opportunity to experience the unique culture of Haas Hall Academy. During their time on campus, your child will experience the unique culture of Haas Hall Academy and attend four 90-minute classes and lunch alongside a current scholar.

In order to protect campus security, arrangements must be made in advance — no exceptions. Use the calendar below to schedule a day for your child to shadow a scholar. Appointments are available on select days from September 24, 2024 through April 17, 2025. Shadow appointments are for prospective scholars in grades 6-11. Once your reservation is received, your applicant will be matched with a scholar ambassador one grade level ahead.

    2025-2026 Lottery Results

This list will be printed and posted at the Fayetteville campus for 24 to 48 hours.
    Available February 25

Upon notification to the Arkansas Department of Education, Haas Haas Hall Academy will provide the Arkansas Department of Education with a copy of each application, a list of all participants by campus and grade level, and the numbered list produced by the random number generator.

Within 72 hours of the Admissions Lottery drawing, parents/guardians of applicants who are listed as Admitted on the Lottery Results will be sent a seat offer via email. The email will have a link to an electronic form where they can accept or decline the seat.

In the Admissions Lottery drawing, Haas Hall Academy offers first priority to children of faculty and staff members and second priority to siblings of current scholars. The goal is to ensure family uniformity and consistency and keep together children who prefer to attend the same institution.

No priority is given to children of faculty or staff members or siblings of current scholars if their applications are submitted during our Waiting List application period. Applications submitted during this period are placed on the campus Waiting Lists in the order we receive them.
